I knew Leon when he lived in Austin. He was a man who loved music, a good laugh, and living life.

My sincere condolences for your family. I haven't seen Leon since 1970. I did know that he went in to business with Doty Tullos. Being a lifelong musician I wished he would have pursued that longer. We'd have a lot to talk about these days on the subject of recording and publishing. I live in Colorado and never heard the news. I arrived in Texas on May 14. too late to come had I heard. He will always be in my memory as a funny guy. My best regards to all who loved him.
