I viewed the video and that is such a nice way to remember Bob. There are some advantages to advancing technology.
I still use his hands signals for directions while in field service; bougainvilleas, he once gave me one and I kept it for a long time (I bought some and they remind me of him.) Instead of a death, the slides make you think of a life. Eccl. 7:1 - "A name is better than good oil, and the day of death than the day of one's being born."
The pioneer sign: nothing subtle about what he wanted everyone to do.
Love to you Marilyn and may Jehovah be with you.
Love to Bobby at Bethel,
Love to Dion and family,

Ever since I got the news about Bob's passing, I have sifted through a lot of teenage memories. When I think of the Truth, I picture Bob as a pillar for the Truth. I was blessed to have known Bob as a young publisher. I remember with distinction his talks from the platform, his field service endeavours, his laugh and his smile...always happy, that was Bob. I know that Jehovah is especially proud of him for the fine record he built in his service to our Creator. If Bob had lived in Biblical days, he would no doubt have been mentioned along with the faithful men of old....or perhaps we would be reading from 1 Bob 2:8. Ha...he would laugh at that idea, wouldn't he? But he truly was a great example for me as I spiritually matured. Surely, you, Bobby and you, Dion are proud of your dad and all he stood for. My heart goes out to you and I remember us all serving together in Orange, Texas. I am sorry for you, Marilyn and the loss of your sweet husband. You are all in my prayers. Love, Mimi Mondejar

What good memories I will always have about Bob and I am so sorry Marilyn, Bobby and Dion for the pain that you are feeling. But what a wonderful hope we all have of being reunited with such loved ones. Until that day we must continue to put up a fine fight for righteousness, knowing that, that is what Bob would expect us to do.
Much love to you all and all the extended family,

You will be in my prayers as you begin to make your way through the rest of the system without Bob. You will be on uneven ground as you adjust to your new circumstances but as you have done all along "Throw you burdens on Jehovah and He will comfort you". Much love and fellow feeling.

Dear Marilyn, Deon, Bobby,

Physcial distance keeps us from being with you today, the day that so many of those who loved and respected Bob come to attend his Memorial. Know that we in WA have been thinking of you this entire time. While not there physically we are with you in our love for both Bob and the God that made him the wonderful, Father, Friend and Husband that he was to all of us. Be assured that you are al in our prayers not just today but in the coming weeks and months until together we have our Father, Friend and Husband back with us. Don and Kelley

Bob was a special person , so loving and endearing to Jehovah and to the freinds. A sense of true humor , I will remember his smiles and laughs. He will be greatly missed by our family and my daughter will always remember that bob always gave her time, telling her she was loved, and asking if she had her garlic and onions for breakefeast. Our prayers are with you and your family.
