Dear Ruth aunty,
Every time I met you it was with a big wide smile and a tight hug and a kiss. This last time that I met you at Hebron by the side of the ofiice and your chemistry teacher (way back in your Medical school,Kurnool), Sis.Soumyamma John as the V.B.S. parcels were parcelled and kept by the main office, this March 2012 or end of February if I am right. I never knew that it was the last time.
I cannot help but cry as I type this message to you. Having left my profession as a medical doctor (as you also did), and come to the Lord's work at Hebron it was a joy to meet you in this new sphere of life, beggining on the Lord's day as I was led in by the Lord and obeyed His call on the 1st of January this year (2012) . I was so happy to have met you after a long time but I remember that it was something troubling within us that we did not come together with that smile and a hug as you were aware of that great pulling force in taking me back from Hebron and the Lord's work.
At the end you asked me to come up to your room up-stairs whenever I wanted to, where you stayed and that was also not emphatic but very very deeply immersed in thought. "Did you know something that it was the last time we were going to meet? I don't know". SURE DEAR AUNT WE WILL MEET 'ON THAT DAY' IN THAT HEAVENLY MANSION ABOVE ( in that up-stairs room where you are put to stay in the eternal presence of our Lord.)
That same day I also remember that when I enquired of uncle Koshy's health you said how you spent many days typing the biography of His honoured servant late Bro.Bakth Singh, dictated by His honoured servant late Bro.Dr.T.E.Koshy (that was eye-opening but not spoken about aloud). Our Eternal God, the Immortal Lord is not going to forget the labour of love that you have shown towards His saints and also the apostle and great man of God Bro. Bakth Singh during his weakness due to Parkinson's disease.
Chittoor VBS (early 90s), memories when you and my mother (Sis.Elsie Caleb) were asked to help in the VBS I remember you sing that song "Gorrapilanu choodu" ( 'look to the lamb of God' in telugu) as me and my brother were helping you with music. The 1st syllable of 'Gor-r-rrapilla" was stressed by you so much. Could see the burden you had for children.
Whenever we met and recollected Chitoor VBS we remembered Jay Koshy. We also remembered the children of the servant of God's son (Asher) running around the campus without cover as a small kid. We did laugh over it.
But now it makes me sad that I may not find you on this earth but I will see you in eternity one day when I also "come up there" to that mansion where you are placed in the presence of our Almighty Lord Jesus Christ where there is no death or grave and neither any sorrow or tears.
You never knew that this glorious entrance on the Lord's day ( August 12th 2012) was appointed by the Lord as we read " It is appointed for man once to die..." in Hebrews 9:27 when you visited Dr.Koshy just a month before with Bro.K.Phillip. In fact you had this promotion 2 weeks earlier than Bro.Koshy did. What a re-union and great surprise to meet those who have gone before.
One day may be by death or if it is going to be the Lord's return I have the blessed assurance that I will meet you up there in your room as you told at Hebron, truly in that beautiful mansion above in that City of God.
That song....When we all get to heaven
What a day of rejoicing that will be
When we all see Jesus
We'll sing and shout the victory...... Amen.
I write this 7 weeks later, very late into the night after you've entered this abode because I was not able to do so as I was always filled with tears as often as I see all that is on this blog spot.

Yours in Him Eternally,
Zephaniah.

Phillipians 4:3 "...women which laboured...in the gospel......, whose names are in the book of life."
Phillipians 4:4-7.
Bro.Raghu Reddy....Phillipians 4:9"....and the God of peace shall be with you."
Amen.

We were shocked to hear the news of Sis Ruth's sudden home-call when we were at Bath, doing open air. We visited Sis Ruth's brother and his daughter and consoled the grieving family. We have just seen the complete photos and videos here in London, and our hearts go out in sympathy for all the loved ones of Sis Ruth and Bro Christopher. We are earnestly praying for Bro Christopher's recovery. Our God is a God of mercy and of miracles.

Christ travelled to Earth below & left behind His Throne above. No distance was too great for Him because He was compelled by love. What God gave us, He wants us to share with others. So, our dear student, Dr.Ruth of Kurnool Medical College, Kurnool, Andhra pradesh, & a dear sister in the Lord travelled all over the world spreading the gospel & touching many lives, has left us to be with the Lord. We miss you Ruth. We send our condolences to the bereaved family & pray for God's healing touch on Bro.Christopher.

Every now and then on this earthly pilgrimage you meet servants of God that leave leave an everlasting imprint on your heart, however short the encounter. It was such with Sister Ruth & Brother Christopher when they visited us here in Germany last spring. Although our fellowship lasted just for a few days, the impact is being felt by everybody they ministered to until this very day. For the simple reason that everywhere they went they left the sweet aroma of Christ, something almost totally missing in most so-called servants of the Lord today. While our hearts are griefing we are so very grateful to our Lord for having blessed us with the privilege of teaching us through this brief encounter to discern between the genuine and the fake.
