David "King" Gene Martin

David G. “King” Martin, 58 of Nederland passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.
 
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Reverend Ron Hammonds officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00-8:00 PM, Friday at Broussard’s.
 
David was a native of Youngstown, Ohio and has lived in Nederland since 1978. He was an owner of King Home Improvements for thirty five years and attended Church on the Rock.
 
David was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Bomer Convitch; and sister, Gloria Bomer. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Simeon Price of Nederland; three daughters, Christine Reeves and her husband Bryan of Port Acres, Tiana Elliott and her husband Kelly of Port Neches, Stacy Simkins and her husband James of North Jackson, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Angel, Alexandera, Madison, James Bo, Maggie, Dyllan, Christy, Justin and one great grandchild, Alexander.
